About Allison

Allison Spooner is the founder of BirthRight and an instructor of HypnoBirthing courses in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.

It was not my long-standing intent to become a HypnoBirthing instructor. I always knew I wanted a natural birth, so when I was told about HypnoBirthing, I took the course, found a birth doula and got ready for my son to make his entrance into the world. I faced a number of challenges once labor started, and I put the method to the test. Our son Teague was born without medical induction or the need for drugs. The experience left me with such a positive impression that I decided to teach HypnoBirthing, offering my firsthand experience and instruction to bring about the best possible birth for mothers and their companions.
